It's been a good couple of days for Charlie. It is hard to believe that he has been here a week already. Everyday something new seems to be going on and he is getting squirmier and fussier, it is great now, but hopefully it settles when he does come home.
He met his Great-grandma today, and it was great to see her with him. He has also had visits from his grandparents over the last couple of days.
I came to a very unsettling realization today when I was holding him. It hit me like a brick how different life will be now. I was holding his feeding tube, as the nurse explained to me how the milk will go down the tube faster when held higher, and to lower it if it is going too fast. The first thing out of my mouth after the explanation was "oh, like a beer bong?"
Charlie's cousin Sophie is very excited for Charlie's first Twins game!
